“The Sweet Suite 2 by Sierra Designs is easily one of the best tents I have used!” – Jesse Males

I recently had the pleasure of taking the Sweet Suite 2 tent by Sierra Designs along with me on my recent backcountry trip to Wyoming. Here are a few of the product details that made this tent stand out amongst the rest.

  1. The hub tripod pole geometry kept the tent stable while the quick clips allowed for a quick and easy setup.
  2. The ridgepole installed super quick and helped maximize space in the interior.
  3. Extra smooth zippers on the double D doors allowed for easy entry and maneuverability while moving in and out of the tent or while accessing gear stored under the vestibules during the rain at night.
  4. Easy clip installation and versatility of the rainfly was a huge plus.
  5. Official specs on the Sweet Suite 2 feature a full pack weight of 3.10oz.

I’m Capt. Jesse Males, an avid fly fishing, snook snatching, kayak paddling, tarpon slaying, mountain hiking, manatee swimming fool from Central Florida. Over the years fly fishing has had a huge impact on my life and particularly on how I view the world we spend our time in. I am currently the owner and operator of backwaterflyfishing.com as well as our online fly shop, backwaterflies.com. The lifestyle that is called fly fishing has taken me to some amazing destinations and has provided me with some amazing experiences in the wild. From chasing big salty critters in the Florida Keys, to roosters in Coast Rica, to small wild trout in the Carolinas, and all the way up to the high mountain cutthroat of Wyoming; I have been blessed to experience fly fishing at its finest.
