The Triggerfish is by far one of the most interesting fish I have ever caught. This beautify specimen was caught directly in front of Tarponville Lodge in Manzanillo, Costa Rica.

The lodge’s owner, Mark Martin, was kind enough to point out a few of these guys working their way up the reef. A slow accurate cast with my 9wt and this guy couldn’t resist.

If you are looking for a great place to plan your next fly fishing vacation. Seriously consider a trip to Tarponville. Tarpon, Jacks, Permit, Tiggerfish, and Bonefish are just a few of the species that might end up on the end of your line during your stay.
