I snatched up my first baby tarpon on my 5wt fly rod in Merritt Island, FL. Since then I have been chasing those lil suckers all over the backwaters of Florida.

I have caught tarpon in multiple areas throughout the state, and love chasing them throughout Mosquito Lagoon and the Indian River systems. Few things get me as pumped up as seeing a tarpon shoot  up out of the water after taking one of my homemade flies! Priceless!
