EL POONADOR TARPON FLY: Backwater Vlog Episode Four/Five

“EL POONADOR is a tarpon fly that just looks and screams POON. Wether you are in the backcountry or the flats, these lil dudes will get some fish on the line!” – Jesse Males

I originally whipped up this fly as a fly for peacock bass down in the amazon. However, after tying a few I decided it was certainly going to be a killer on tarpon of all sizes.

Here is my hd fly tying video featured in Episode Four of the Backwater Vlog series.

As you can see, like most every fly I tie, there are countless color options that would work very well for this pattern.

EPISODE FIVE

EL POONADOR was the last fly tying video I did in 2018. In Episode Five of the vlog I wanted to chat with you guys and say thank you all for the support over the past year. I am late getting these blog posts out due to being busy with guided trips; however, here they are!

I hope you guys enjoyed the videos. Be sure to follow me on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date on everything coming off my fly tying desk!

Tight lines!
