“HD PHOTO” FLY TYING TUTORIAL: REDFISH L&D

The last “HD PHOTO” Fly Tying Tutorial we did was very well received. I think it is a great way to get the steps out to you in a way that doesn’t require me to do the typical hours of production and video editing that goes along with my HD Fly Tying Videos.

Here is a step-by-step photo series to help walk you through tying one of my favorite redfish patterns. If you hate fly tying, then you are free to purchase the fly on my online fly shop, backwaterflies.com.

Start with a 1/0 SC15 in the vise!

I hope you have enjoyed this post! Be sure to get out there and try this pattern for yourself.

If you like the Photo Tutorial please share this post with your fly tying buddies. Oh…and be sure to check out us out on Instagram to get the low down on what is popping off our vise!

Keep your hearts right, and your lines tight!

I’m Capt. Jesse Males, an avid fly fishing, snook snatching, kayak paddling, tarpon slaying, mountain hiking, manatee swimming fool from Central Florida. Over the years fly fishing has had a huge impact on my life and particularly on how I view the world we spend our time in. I am currently the owner and operator of backwaterflyfishing.com as well as our online fly shop, backwaterflies.com. The lifestyle that is called fly fishing has taken me to some amazing destinations and has provided me with some amazing experiences in the wild. From chasing big salty critters in the Florida Keys, to roosters in Coast Rica, to small wild trout in the Carolinas, and all the way up to the high mountain cutthroat of Wyoming; I have been blessed to experience fly fishing at its finest.
