This fly pattern is an excellent choice for redfish, snook, and sea trout. It uses a number of simple steps to complete and even features a 20 pound test titanium weed guard.

This pattern, like most, can be altered in size and color to produce some great variations. Be sure to experiment with some of your own.
Aside from the white one that I tied in the video, I like to tie it in tan as well.

I have weed guards in plenty of my videos. Simply cut the mono, flatten one end, then tie it in and post it up.
