Here at Backwater Fly Fishing the largemouth bass is a go to species we target all year long. From retention ponds to backwater honey holes, this fish is always looking to munch on one of our flies.
This video is all about chasing bass and having a great time doing it. The film includes footage from a recent trip to one of our favorite spots in search of big bluegill, bass, and snook. This area can hold some monster…and I MEAN MONSTER BLUEGILL! Unfortunately we didn’t land any giants during this trip; however, we were able to slam some consistent bass action for the majority of the morning.
After landing some quality fish we decided to move out of the area and let all the fish lips heal for a few days. These spunky bass deserve to be featured in a funk filled video like this! Get out there and start chasing bass in a neighborhood near you. Waters are warming up and bass are jumping on flies!
